Programmatic Thrust 5

Political Awareness & Involvement

Advancing nonpartisan civic education, voter registration, community advocacy, and active civic participation.

Civic Engagement & Social Action

A Proud Heritage of Nonpartisan Civic Leadership

Delta Sigma Theta has been involved in social action since its inception as an organization—beginning with the Women’s Suffrage March of 1913. Our chapter continues this legacy by providing voter registration, education, and advocacy training to the community.

We promote social activism, targeted advocacy, and ongoing civic education specific to our current and evolving county and state.

Civic Education & Empowerment

Voter Registration Drives

The Holly Springs–Marshall County Alumnae Chapter’s aim is to raise awareness about political and legislative issues in Marshall County and surrounding areas.

We conduct nonpartisan voter registration drives throughout the local community as well as host voter education programs, candidate forums, and civic workshops to ensure every eligible citizen can make their voice heard at the ballot box.
